I'm sending this review even though we didn't get a chance to go on our tour to the Amalfi coast. We booked with ItalyLimousine in early 2010 for our date in May when our cruise ship was scheduled to be in the port of Naples. The communication with Josephine was excellent and she went above and beyond to be sure that we were getting the exact tour we wanted. When we arrived in Naples in May, unfortunately, our ship had to be tendered and the ocean swells were too large to use tender boats so we missed our excursion! I immediately began emailing Josephine to let her know that we couldn't get off the boat and she was very understanding and reinforced their 'no charge' policy under the circumstances. Although, we didn't even get to tour with ItalyLimousine, I would use them again in the future, just because the communication was excellent and as many others have said you felt like you became friends with Josephine without even meeting her! I will definitely recommend this company in the future and hope to be able to use them myself again sometime.

Anyway, I will repeat that we thoroughly enjoyed our Amalfi day trip which was handled very professionally and was very informative & despite the weather not being wonderful, we had a memorable, comfortable & informative day. I have no hesitation in recommending your company who were really reliable,friendly & helpful & very reasonably priced. Hi Josephine. How are you???? We hope you are well! All is well in Vancouver - we sure wished we were coming to see you again this year! I joined up so I could post a note. Here it is. Last year we hired a remarkable local tour company to take us on a full day tour from our port (amalfi) for my parents 50 wedding anniversary. They service the whole area so regardless of whether your port is Naples, Positano, Sorrento or Amalfi, they can work for you. Their name is Italy Limosines and while that may make you think they are only for the rich and famous, this couldn't be farther from the truth. Our guide was fantastic, playing opera as we journeyed through the incredbile scenery and giving us tons of interesting information. We stopped for a truly unforgettable lunch at a wonderful trattoria in Positano with the most spectacular views imaginable. We want to thank Sergio for a wonderful trip Oct. 10th for our tour of the Amalfi coast. We have never done a private tour before but because of the wonderful service your company and luca provided we had a great experience. luca was a pleasure and provided us with lots of information about the region. We had Gustavo in Naples and with his laid back personality it was perfect for a relaxing day. In Rome we had Gilberto who was amazing. This was our first experience with a private driver and it was perfect from beginning to end. Our questions were answered promptly via e-mail by Josephine before we left home and Rino was waiting for us on the pier when we docked in Naples. Thanks to Rino for showing us the beautiful Amalfi Coast and taking us to the Trattoria La Tagliata for lunch. We have wonderful memories and pictures of our day and highly recommend this company.

Josephine was great in helping me book this trip. We took the tour up the Amalfi Coast as a Port excursion. Giovanni, our driver, was great. We got to see Pompeii before the bus tour crowds. We were able to go down roads the buses simply can't navigate. We stopped to take pictures whenever we wanted. The trip exceeded our expectations and I would definitely use this service again and recommend to all my friends.

From the prompt, warm welcome by our driver, the best views, great shopping, excellent lunch (one of our favorite meals on our entire 17 day trip) and the great guide at Pompeii. I can't say enough on how impressed I was with everything you promised and how you far exceeded my expectations. Our driver was knowledgeable on the sights, spoke English clearly and was an excellent driver along the winding Amalfi Coast. I will highly recommend you to my friends and family and will soon write on the Cruise Critics site to also tell others of our wonderful experience. Dear Josephine and Rino. It is honestly hard to put into words how incredible our day was with you. Our entire group of 36 was awed by the beauty of the coastline, the spectacular seaside drive complete with music and commentary from our driver/guides, and the interesting private tour of Pompeii. However, nothing prepared us for the lunch on the cliffs of Positano and the 50th wedding anniversary celebration you organized. The food, the views, the entertainment and the ambiance were truly unforgettable. I don't think the restaurant will forget everyone dancing either! Mille Grazie per tutti!

Hi Josephine, Even though the weather did not cooperate, we still had a great day! Loved Pompeii – Gustav managed to get us a private tour guide and she was great. We only had a couple of hours to spend there but she managed to show us all of the highlights. Then he booked us great seats a lovely restaurant in Ravello where we had great service, a spectacular view as well as a delicious lunch. Finally he drove us back along the coast, stopping in Amalfi so we could walk around and then on our way back to Positano Gustav pointed out some points of interest and stopped along the road so we could take pictures. Overall, it was a great day! I also wanted to let you know that our driver who picked us up the next morning to take us back to the train station in Napoli was also great. He showed up early to pick us up as the regular highway was closed and we had to take the long way around. Traffic was terrible. It took us almost 2 1/2 hours to get to the train station but once we got there the driver helped us with our luggage, helped us find our train and didn’t leave us until he was certain we were on the right train and everything was ok. We had 10 minutes to spare!! He did a great job! Sorry, but I don’t remember his name. We are so glad we chose ItalyLimousine to travel with while in Positano. You and your drivers did a great job and we would definitely use your services again if we return to Italy and will absolutely recommend you to everyone! Thanks so much! Hi Josephine, We LOVED our day with Rino. He is such a nice young man; so polite and helpful. We loved his suggestion when we asked for a casual pizza restaurant in Sorrento not in the tourist area. We loved his driving... felt very safe on those curvy roads of the Amalfi Coast. He didn't drive fast and crazy like some of the other drivers we had (the taxis in Rome). We loved his comments about the different areas we visited. He seemed very knowledgeable about all the areas and told us a lot, but yet didn't talk too much to be tiresome. Dear Josephine, Thank you again for a wonderful tour of Naples. Now that we have returned home we were wondering if Rino would share with us the name of the bread bakery, mozzarella factory and olive oil factory that he took us to. We didn't make note of it on our trip and we would like to have the names to share with our families. Also, while we were on tour he mentioned the name of the tomatoes that were used in making the pasta dish at the winery. Could he tell us again, as unfortunately, we have forgotten. If there is anyone in Naples that preserves the tomatoes and sells them in the US we would be so very grateful to have the information. We thoroughly enjoy the food of our ancestors! It was a fantastic tour and we will recommend it to anyone we know who is traveling to Italy. Ciao Josephine, Having a driver to greet us and take the complication out of getting around was wonderful. We got to do SO MUCH MORE than we would have if we had tried to figure out the details. My family and I had a wonderful experience with "ItalyLimousine" We used their services 3 times in May 2009 (2 days to the outer cities of Rome and in Sorrento). Josephine was very helpful and our Mercedes Limo Van was waiting for us at our hotel at the promised time. They gave us enough flexibility to plan our own day with guidance from our professional and experienced guide/driver. I recommend this company to anyone traveling to Italy.

Dear Josephine. What a wonderful experience we had in Italy. Thank you very much for Rino on the Amalfi coast. Mario in Rome and Tano in Florence. The three days were magical. This was a cruise for our grandson, and he especially enjoyed the three ports in Italy where the Cruise Ship docked and your individual drivers were there waiting for us. We have mentioned your company to so many people. My two other daughters will be on a cruise next month and will be contacting you for the same routes that we just did. Josephine, you were right. I would like to thank you for organising and Mario for driving us on the tour to Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Naples on the 2nd July He is a great person, he was very obliging and as I mentioned before we went one of our party could not walk too well and Mario took as as high up to the sights as he could and into the Villiages!
